I am an active person enjoying motorcycle riding, gravel bike riding, and kayaking. I am a proud mom and grandmother. My son works for Cardo headsets and is living the dream job. He and his wife have gave me the best give and made me a grandmother almost 3 years ago. My hero is my daughter working through Covid in the ED as a new nurse at Advent Deland. I have been an RN for 25 years. Returned to school and completed my BSN in May 2020 and started the Masters program for FNP May 2020 at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. I am 6 months from completion! I worked as a clinical bedside nurse on a post surgical floor at Advent Health Altamonte for 19 years leaving to pursue a higher education. Loved this job and my surgical patients. I miss direct patient care and look forward to returning as an FNP. I am working full time as a Field Case Manager working with Worker's Comp injured workers with injuries including orthopedic, general surgery, traumatic brain injuries, and poly traumas. I coordinate care with multiple disciplines, diagnostic tests, and therapies. Working to provide excellent care and return the patient back to pre-injury level of function and return to work. Working for Corvel for 19 years as a Case manager for occupational injuries. Experienced with polytrauma and TBI cases. Love to travel! I went to Ireland on a school trip to learn about nursing care in Ireland. I went to Paris and stayed with my French exchange student's family. I have been to Alaska, Cozumel, and most of the Carribean. I have traveled in the U.S. in California, Grand Canyon, Sedona, all around the GSM and want to see Yosemite and the National Parks around there. My dream trip is to go to Greece and Italy maybe after graduation!
