About Whitney Kimchi

Free-spirited, passionate, multi-disciplinary designer specializing in brand identity and packaging design with 8+ years in the home/fashion industry and 4+ years in the beauty industry. I love making things look good. When I was around 13 years old, I asked my dad for a sketchbook and he handed me a notebook (the audacity!). We went to the art store that night and by the next day I had pages of design ideas. I didn’t know it then, but in that moment, I became a designer. When I graduated college and got my first job at The Wetbrush, I fell in love with start up culture. I love the fast paced, team oriented dynamic that enables you to learn and master multiple disciplines across the creative industry. I have lead brands and packaging development for top recognized retail companies, such as Walmart, Target and the TJX companies. My expedition has resulted in economic growth, brand recognition and innovative packaging solutions that have set trends industry-wide. My favorite thing about my job is the collaboration and mentoring that goes along with it. I love to be a part of a team and help designers grow to their full potential. It makes my heart happy. Most recently, I have had the opportunity to learn and lead in the UX/UI design space which introduced me to a version of myself I didn’t know was beneath all the Photoshop and Illustrator - and I’m obsessed with it!
