About Whitney Saucedo

Over the past 15 years, I’ve gained extensive experience in global humanitarian relief. My journey started with logistical support for domestic partners, organizing events, and coordinating teams. However, I soon felt a pull toward more international work, desiring to learn from different cultures and understand global needs.This led to my role as the Director of the International Missions Department, where I managed the planning, recruitment, budgeting, and execution of 15-18 trips annually. These trips, involving over 200 volunteers, were focused on distributing new footwear to communities in need. I worked closely with in-country partners and hosts to design itineraries that balanced service and cultural exploration, while also developing new partnerships in expanding countries.As the organization grew, I took on the role of overseeing Samaritan’s Feet’s entire International Program. I now collaborate on shaping and executing global strategies, recruiting in-country partners, and drafting MOU agreements. A significant part of my work is coordinating policies and practices for international affiliates, while building and nurturing key relationships. I also oversee financial performance and development targets, and identify potential international donors.In collaboration with our logistics manager, I ensure efficient shipment coordination, monitoring, and documentation, while working with various stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries that meet regulatory standards. From negotiating costs to resolving logistical issues, I handle each shipment with precision, ensuring smooth international operations.My extensive international experience has enabled me to quickly adapt to new environments. I am passionate about exploring new cultures, forming meaningful relationships, and making a positive impact globally.
