About Whitney Thompson

I have experience with graphic design, sales, customer service, retail, mental/behavioral health, creative writing, counseling, group and individual services, grant writing/proofing,(ATOD) prevention services, training/education, community events/engagement, coalitions, and so much more. I obtained an Associate’s degree in 2019 through Independence University, majored in Graphic Arts. This year (2025) I will graduate and obtain my Bachelor’s in Psychology concentrated in Mental Health, with a minor in Criminal Justice, through Southern New Hampshire University. I look forward to utilizing my upcoming degree for my next opportunity in upbringing the health, wellness, safety, and future of our communities; especially towards youth/teens. I value my passion for mental and behavioral health as well as the general health and safety of all communities, and hope to build my experiences with a chance on taking my next big step towards a profession within the psychology/criminal justice related fields. I also value my skills in creativity and writing, as I'm the type of person who loves to 'have a voice'- not just verbally, but artistically as well - and I'm always willing to put it to use both personally and professionally of course.
