About Wietske Welten

Hi there, my name is Wietske. I’ve been dancing through life since the age of 4 and approximately 9 years ago found my heart in Afro Cuban Rhythms and Salsa in particular. Dancing salsa brings so much joy to the personal and social lives of everyone who dances it that I think it should be accessible to everyone. That’s why I love sharing everything I’ve learned about salsa through in-person classes, workshops and shows as well as online tutorials, tips and dance videos. My combined community of 211k Instagram and YouTube followers is always interested in stylish but practical clothes and accessories for salsa dance classes, parties, festivals and congresses. My goal is to make it easy to start learning to dance salsa and to confidently step onto the dance floor.
