About Wijnand Warlich

I am an independent IT consultant, Architect with a strong drive to solve complex issues and create and implement innovative solutions. I like to manage meaningful change to the benefit of and accepted by your organisation. I implement new ways of working, enabled by IT systems, with relentless focus on end-to-end alignment between business requirements (functional and non-functional), application systems and IT infrastructure components. As a result solutions fit well in your business environment and are manageable in your organisation. I have sufficient experience in complex change processes within multinationals to guide all parties involved, from the shop floor to the boardroom, in buying in to the changes and into participating actively in the project. My strength lies in maintaining a complete overview of the solution without losing sight of the detail in sub-projects and milestones that form a part of the total solution. As project manager I typically manage special projects with non-standard solution characteristics, connecting different architectures, or other complicating factors. A special area of expertise is legacy migration projects and revamp of AS/400 and IBM Mainframe environments. As consultant I ’m advising clients on any topic in the space of IT Infrastructure & Operations. I have a track record in analysing and solving operational stability problems with heavy business impact or in complex IT environments with long chains of application systems.
