About Wilfrid Querobin

I am a anesthesia assistant at the University Health Network that participates in the anesthetic care of surgical patients undergoing general, regional, and local anesthesia. Under the direction and supervision of the responsible Anesthesiologist, I am able to perform assessments, monitor, and initiate interventions required to maintain anesthesia, hemodynamic stability and hemostasis I also have a background in critical care as a registered nurse with a strong interest in health innovation and enhancing current practices. My experience includes cardiac catheterization, cardiac intensive care, emergency room care and cardiac research. Currently, I am completing my certification in anesthesia assistant. Skills that I have obtained include advanced airway management (i.e insertion of endotracheal tubes), insertion of arterial lines and providing anesthesia care throughout the different phases of a OR procedure.
