About Wiljam Kanniainen

Mechanical Engineering graduate from Oulu University of Applied Sciences. My field of study was automation engineering, which gave me great acquirements to work in industrial automation. I completed my final thesis for Blastman Robotics Oy, which is a world leader in supplying reliable and advanced robotic abrasive blast cleaning systems. The subject of my thesis was the development of Beckhoff automation spare part maintenance. My previous experience with Beckhoff TwinCAT 3 made it possible to succeed with this work. Right before graduating, I signed a contract with Blastman Robotics, to work as a customer support engineer. Already having a 1 year experience with the company (school project, summer trainee, final thesis) made it comfortable to work in customer interface. As a customer support engineer, I have the chance to work in all the following engineering fields: electrical, mechanical and software engineering, providing technical support to all of our customers. I find this detail to be very valuable, looking from the point of view of becoming a true professional in industrial robotics and engineering. My hobbies are sports, fly-fishing and playing all kinds of instruments, mainly guitar.
