About Will Coffey

Currently a program officer for Canada’s Weapons Threat Reduction Program, where my role requires a comprehensive understanding of program implementation, policy goals and financial management. Additionally, I have strong familiarity with financial and program management software, including SAP. Since its foundation in 2002, the Weapons Threat Reduction Program has provided more than $1.2 billion in funding to numerous organizations around the globe to reduce the threat of weapons of mass destruction. More recently, we contributed directly to Canada’s international response to the COVID 19 pandemic, and provided material and equipment in support of Ukraine. While completing my studies, I worked in the service industry and appreciated the dynamic environment that furthered strong communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills. It enriched my own personal values, including a strong work ethic, a commitment to continuous learning, and meaningful engagement with others to deliver shared goals.
