About Will Conerly

Play-by-play broadcaster with experience calling football, basketball, baseball, soccer, softball, volleyball, and lacrosse at the high school, college, and professional levels. A former NCAA Division II student-athlete, I began my broadcasting journey at my alma mater, where I quickly transitioned from covering games as a student to becoming the school’s radio voice. Over the summers, I called numerous college baseball games in summer leagues, and have built experience across multiple sports and levels of play. After working at the University of Illinois Springfield, my wife and I relocated to the Dallas–Fort Worth area at the beginning of 2024, where I continue to pursue my passion for play-by-play broadcasting. I currently freelance calling high school and college games across the region, while also serving as a sports update anchor and reporter at Sportsradio 96.7 / 1310 “The Ticket.” I’m driven by the challenge of telling the story of the game in real time, connecting with fans, and creating moments that capture the excitement of sports. I’m always seeking new opportunities to call games, grow as a broadcaster, and share my love of sports with audiences.
