About Will Crowder

I am a recent graduate in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee Knoxville working towards with a business degree in Marketing with a concentration in Supply Chain Management. I have always been a team player and a high achiever. Before my time in the Haslam College of Business I played baseball at Volunteer State Community College, so I learned the value of working together as a team and always striving for the best. It also introduced me to a wide variety of people allowing me to get familiar with working with people with vast differences. I continue to do so in my current position in Athletic Plant Maintenance for the University of Tennessee. My colleagues and I often work together to achieve what's best for the group and figure out ways to improve the situation at hand. Some of my business interests include understanding trends in marketing, how different cultures have different advertisements and why that works, and discovering a brand's target market and what will work best for them. My experiences with teamwork and communication have prepared me to pursue a career in marketing. For example, I have showcased the ability to work with others from playing sports my whole life and having to come together as a group to achieve a common goal. My career goal after college is to work with a company in their marketing department or do something on the supply chain side of the business.
