About Will Demarest

I am a recent graduate from Eckerd College with a passion for anything involving marine science. I love sea life and am excited to explore the different avenues of this interdisciplinary science. Over several years, I have acquired abundant travel experience as a part of academics and research. This travel has taught me ecological survey techniques and honed my diving skills. During school, I have put my teaching skills into practice with peers. Subjects I have tutored include Ecology, Chemical Oceanography, and Physical Oceanography. I am currently working as a Special Education aide in the Boston area, but am working on applications to PhD programs for Marine Science for the Fall 2017 semester. While I love and am very familiar with Ecology, I am fascinated by marine systems in general, and would be thrilled to explore those systems. There is always something to be learned from new opportunity!
