About Will Grandt

I am a career-switcher experienced in managing resources. Through my unique professional past, I have developed a passion for process improvement and helping others. With Grand Canyon University, I developed an online database tool which housed all certification requirements for teaching, counseling and nursing programs to provide information to students and staff regarding professional certification within all 50 states; increasing certification rates by approximately 40% across all programs. With my recent completion of my PharmD from Midwestern University, as well as an MBA from Grand Canyon University and BS in Marketing from Arizona State University, I hope to fuse my business experience with my current pharmacy career path. Since completion of my AZ pharmacy licensure, I was able to lead rebate contract implementation for select classes of pharmaceutical products to save the BCBSAZ approximately 1.3M. Additionally, I currently serve as a contracted Prior Authorization pharmacist with BCBSAZ. Concurrently, I work as a full-time staff pharmacist at Walmart pharmacy where I am able to grow my understanding of the practice of pharmacy from patient interactions to managing pharmacy resources. I am excited to experience all the that comes with my new career as I evolve my practice and strive to provide the absolute best patient care regardless of my practice setting.
