About Will Hames

I am the Operations Manager for Alco Harvesting. Alco is a leafy greens and berry harvesting company operating in California and Arizona. With a background in ranching, construction equipment, contracting, and mining, I enjoy combining all my skills to face the variation and challenges that come with my job. I lead our team of extremely talented mechanics, welders and fabricators who custom build our trailers, repair our equipment, and perform periodic maintenance to get the most life out of our assets as possible, while providing the uptime needed for our crews to harvest. Our harvest transportation fleet of Peterbilt trucks move finished product from the field to the coolers, move harvest and support equipment between fields and districts, and move equipment and supplies when we make the transition to Arizona for the Winter and then back again to Santa Maria for the season. The properties our team manages serve many functions. We have housing for our seasonal employees, the equipment shop, the equipment yard for parking hauling trucks, tractors and harvest machines, and also our company offices both in Santa Maria, Ca and Yuma,Az. Our hardworking loyal people are the driving force behind our daily success and I am thankful to them everyday.
