I have been working in the GIS environment for over two decade, both in the private and county government. Over the years I have collected a vast amount of knowledge working in GIS form basic functions to advanced analyses. I have completed many ESRI certified trainings, online works shops provided by Washington Collage, and many hours of hands on experience as part of my daily routine. In 2001 I started my career in the mapping field working for Weiler Mapping in Elmira NY. I tablet digitizing parcel maps in AutoCad and running topologies and creating coverage’s of the Cad drawings in GIS. After 2 years of AutoCad digitizing I began mapping strictly in ArcGIS 8 environment. Over the six and half years employed at Weiler mapping I completed several parcel conversion projects for New York State, Vermont, & Georgia. In 2007 I became employed by Tioga County PA GIS Department. As Tioga Counties GIS Technician I maintain and develop spatial data to meet the needs of the county. I have implemented tools to keeping a high standard of accuracy within the counties data sets, help develop and maintain a SDE database, and create and maintain personal and file Geodatabases for proper GIS file organization. While working for Tioga County I have worked on several projects for local, state, and federal government agencies, along with work closely with several private firms and the general public helping them meet their GIS needs. Some of the projects I have or currently working on are, Developing and maintaining local municipal Zoning & land use maps, Flood Plain QA-QC analyses, local water, sewer & drainage systems, developing a county wide source water protection data set for local municipalities with public water systems, digitizing proposed and/or as built pipeline locations as well as Drilling pooling units though out the county, along with countless locations maps for real estate, oil and gas, or local residence.
