About Will Kaplan

Having worked at Starbucks for many years, the transition from Coffee to Java was more than natural. I spent years supervising employees and working with them to achieve promotional opportunities. Working in this same customer-facing job has granted me invaluable experience when working with both customers and fellow employees. Past years of work experience have given me a dynamic knowledge and understanding of leading and working in small groups. A degree in education has provided me a in-depth background in various approaches and methodologies to teaching and mentoring, as well as an ability to communicate between various levels of administration. My more recent experience working as a Software Developer for PNC has provided me with experience in the technology industry, practice working in a formal business setting, and knowledge of the ins and outs of Agile and how it can work to improve a business. I have had practice coding in a real world setting, training in various degrees of security, from phishing scams to personal identifying information, and experience working with others across the confines of applications and business sectors.
