About Will Kaplan

I started out as a Volunteer EMT, rising through the ranks to become the Captain (Chief Officer) for a total of five years. I have recently become the Deputy OEM Coordinator at Borough of Milltown. As such, I prepare for major incidents and organize training sessions to enhance public safety measures. Additionally, I am an EMT Instructor at Somerset County, NJ, where I teach emergency medical techniques and procedures. With over 10 years of experience as an Emergency Medical Technician at Township of Monroe, I have worked within an EMS system with a high call volume and a rising population of over within 40 square miles. I have also responded to over 10 miles of the New Jersey Turnpike and provided mutual aid ambulance to surrounding towns. I have also worked in other environments including rural and urban settings. I hold certifications as an EMT-Instructor, Firefighter I, and BLS Instructor. I am passionate about public safety and emergency response, and I strive to continuously improve my skills and knowledge in these fields.
