About Will Klenk

As a homeschooling student until my freshman year of high school, pursuing the arts and expanding my comprehension of the world through various mediums was a constant. By delegating time for both school and art diligently, I was able to accomplish all that I intended during my school career while continuing to seek growth creatively as well. In 2014, my family was unexpectedly tasked with moving to Germany, and during this time I was asked to organize and shoot my first editorial for an in-print publication. At 16 years old, the job of sourcing a credible MUA and model, locating an accessible location to shoot at, and arranging transportation for everyone involved served as a great opportunity to stoke excitement for the non-artistic aspects of creative pursuits within me as well. This enthusiasm has endured, and throughout my time completing my BS in Communication through Arizona State University, I made it a point to apply any knowledge gained about communication principles to evolving my skills as both an artist and customer-care professional. Whether the job is compiling info on COVID-19 best practices for a local PSA or illustrating original images for a fashion house from China, from my perspective, these pursuits are tied intrinsically by their common goal of caring about and giving back to others. While I have already accomplished more than I had ever anticipated, development is a lifelong profession and my mindset will always be that of a student eager to learn the next thing. I strive to continually walk a path of intentional development and growth in terms of communication and artistic practices and feel truly ignited when completing any project that combines the pair.
