After 23 years of military service as a highly successful Special Operations leader, I am currently exploring new opportunities and open to various roles and industries. Ultimately, I am seeking a new career in an organization that has a drive for excellence, values teamwork, and where their employees know their contributions are valued and recognized as being essential to organizational success. My strong work ethic and focus on doing the job extremely well reflects my intentionality and professionalism. Objective and realistic, I avoid critical mistakes by assessing problems from multiple perspectives, ensuring practical, measurable, and realistic outcomes. As an excellent troubleshooter, I continuously evaluate processes to find logical, efficient solutions, always asking how to improve and seeking better methods. My precision and intuitive decision-making stem from a wealth of life experiences and a strong ability to synthesize information quickly in high tempo environments. I don’t recall when I first heard the quote “Whatever is worth doing at all, is worth doing well,” but I do remember thinking “is there any other way?” Even as a young kid, I possessed the self-motivation to do my best. Whether making good grades, playing sports, or earning Boy Scout badges I felt compelled to give and achieve my best. And when my best really wasn’t all that great, then I would study more, practice harder, or simply just keep at it until I achieved my goal. More than a passion, I am intrinsically wired with a drive to increase efficiency, optimize processes, overcome challenges, and produce high quality results. I will not be satisfied until I have met my standard, which is nothing less than the best possible at the time, every time.
