About Will McIntyre

Will and Deni McIntyre are independent creators of photography and videography for national magazines, multinational corporations, and non-profit organizations. Their current series for PBS is My Music with Rhiannon Giddens. Grammy winner and MacArthur “Genius Grant” recipient Rhiannon Giddens hosts this half-hour series of musical performance and conversation with outstanding guest artists—innovative and accomplished musicians and storytellers who have forged unconventional paths to find their voices. This season’s featured guests are Allison Russell, Rissi Palmer, Charly Lowry, Adia Victoria, Joy Clark, Francesco Turrisi, Justin Robinson, Lalenja Harrington, and Laurelyn Dossett. The series is presented by PBS NC and begins airing in May 2023. Will and Deni produced six seasons of David Holt's State of Music for PBS. The series premiered on North Carolina Public Television (UNC-TV) in 2015. David Holt’s State of Music was carried on PBS stations in more than 90% of the United States. Season 6 began airing in May 2022. They also shoot portraits of writers and recording artists for CD covers and book covers. Their latest book, Three Ranches, was published by Loose Ends Press in November 2012. They are directors of the Will & Deni McIntyre Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to the advancement of education in all its forms through the creation and distribution of books, movies, videos, photographs, and related media. Their first hour-long documentary,"Saving the Hansen House," premiered on UNC-TV (North Carolina Public Television) in October 2011. It was rolled out to public television stations nationwide in January 2013.
