About Will Nickel

As a former Student-Athlete at the University of Missouri-Saint Louis, I graduated in May 2024 with a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems and a Minor in Cybersecurity. My academic journey, combined with my competitive swimming background, has equipped me with a unique blend of leadership, strategic planning, and technical skills. I possess deep knowledge in applying various SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS services to drive revenue growth and streamline business operations. My expertise extends to web development, utilizing HTML, JavaScript, and CSS to create dynamic, responsive applications. Furthermore, I have hands-on experience in data analytics, leveraging tools like Power BI and SQL to deliver actionable insights and improve business performance. Currently, I am expanding my expertise in AI and machine learning for business applications, with a focus on improving business efficiency and workflows. My practical experience includes developing an employee management application, designing and implementing a time management system, and creating a Power BI dashboard to track project OKRs. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated a strong work ethic, dedication, and optimism. As the Co-Captain of the NCAA Division II Men’s Swim Team, I honed my leadership skills and learned the importance of teamwork and community engagement. My internships and professional experiences have further developed my ability to manage projects, analyze data, and implement effective solutions. With a passion for technology and continuous learning, I am committed to leveraging my skills to make a positive impact in the business world.
