About Will Prince

I am a partner in my firm’s Employment and Litigation Practice Groups, focusing my practice on representing businesses and employers in all labor and employment law areas. I represent clients in cases alleging discrimination, retaliation, wrongful discharge, sexual harassment, violations of wage and hour laws, breach of employment agreements, breach of non-compete and non-solicitation provisions, § 1983 claims against government officials, violation of whistleblower protection laws, and business torts. My employment litigation experience includes defending clients in cases alleging violations of anti-discrimination and employment-related statutes, including Title VII, the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), and the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). In addition to my active litigation practice, I routinely advise employers in all areas of employment law and human resources, including on matters relating to employee policies and handbooks, employment contracts, separation agreements, internal investigations, employee leave issues, termination and hiring issues, discrimination and harassment laws, restrictive covenants such as noncompete and non-solicitation provisions, disability and religious accommodation issues, and FLSA/Virginia wage and overtime laws. I have significant experience handling cases in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia (EDVA), commonly known as the “Rocket Docket." I frequently serve as lead and local counsel in cases before the EDVA, which has unique rules that present significant challenges for litigants.
