About Will Robinson

Hello, I'm Will Robinson, a dedicated and hard-working 3rd-year Marketing student at the Pennsylvania State University. Since I was young, it has always been a dream of mine to work in the sports industry. Sports are the thing I am most passionate about and I will do whatever it takes to succeed in such a cutthroat industry. Throughout my first two years at Penn State, I have gained valuable experience through internship opportunities and student organization leadership roles that I believe can aid me in achieving my dream. This past summer, I gained valuable experience as a Marketing and Promotions Intern with Rutgers Athletics. In this role, I am executing in-game sponsorship activations and events, collaborating on sponsored promotions across New Jersey, and researching new potential marketing and fan experience opportunities. During the school year, I work as a Gameday Property Assistant with Playfly Sports, assisting with marketing promotions at Penn State sporting events attended by up to fans. In this role, I establish relationships with corporate partners, ensure the accurate fulfillment of sponsorship contracts, and contribute to the overall fan experience. I am also the current Director of Alumni Relations for the Penn State Sports Business Club, where I manage an active alumni list of over 600 individuals who are working in sports or former members of the club. My responsibilities include connecting with recent alumni to develop professional relationships, securing guest speakers, and coordinating alumni networking events. Previously, I served as the THON Chair, where we broke club records, raising over toward childhood cancer and supporting a Four Diamonds Family along the way. Looking ahead, I am eager to continue my journey at Penn State and further pursue my dream of working in the sports industry!
