About Will Roehr

High energy, results-driven MS Finance student at Texas A&M University. I am the Chief Investment Officer for the Tanner Fund, the first student-run multistrat hedge fund in the US. Previously I served as CIO for The Reveille Fund, where I manage a $20M equities portfolio that has outperformed the S & P500 for two consecutive years, before that I led the Consumer Discretionary sector as Portfolio Manager and contributed as an IT Analyst covering mega-cap technology firms. I merge my skills in finance and passion for service as the co-founder and program director of Eagle Investors, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that teaches personal finance and entrepreneurship to students at Title I high schools in the Houston Area. Over the last seven years, I have had the opportunity to instruct and mentor over a thousand students through the program and bring it to public, private, and charter schools across the city. Part of Titans of Investing Class 39 and Aggies in Tech Cohort 0, I am passionate about bridging finance and technology. My professional experience includes a Summer Associate role at Energy Tech Nexus, coordinating due diligence and investor relations for energy startups, and a Digital Operations Internship at Everbridge, where I piloted and implemented Generative AI solutions to streamline global marketing workflows. Co-founder of Seatgull LLC, a successful tech startup, additional experience includes internships at the Houston Angel Network and Molecular Match, as well as market research roles for cybersecurity and cancer therapeutics startups. Skilled in financial modeling, equity research, data analysis, programming, and marketing analytics, I bring a collaborative approach to leadership and problem-solving. Honors include the Congressional Award Gold Medal and recognition in the Raymond Ideas Challenge. Always eager to explore innovative solutions at the intersection of finance, technology, and entrepreneurship.
