About Will Standley

My career in the construction industry began with Culpepper Plumbing in New Braunfels, TX, where I received a well-rounded education in plumbing while completing my apprenticeship. I performed work in service, renovation, and new construction in residential and commercial settings, and earned my Journeyman Plumber and BPAT licenses. I am currently employed at Texas State University as a Plumber II, which has allowed me to further my career in construction and resume college courses to pursue a BS in Construction Science and Management. During my employment thus far I have maintained large-scale commercial plumbing systems, tested and repaired backflow assemblies routinely, responded to emergencies, performed repairs on the University's water distribution and sewage systems, and participated in inspections of plumbing renovations and new construction performed by contractors. I’ve also earned my Water Distribution Operator Class C license and Certified in Plumbing Design certification, and spent over a year in a cross-training program to gain experience in general construction project coordination.
