About Will Stanley

As a Senior in the Poole College of Management at NCSU, I am "just getting my foot into the door" to my career and what it will be. For a long time, I was unsure of what I wanted my future career path to be. I have worked in the customer service industry for the past five years, where I have really made a point to always put customers first, while always trying to be observant of everything around me. These skills are beneficial and will come in handy in any occupation. I have always been interested in the financial services industry and plan on pursuing a career as a financial analyst. To help further my knowledge in my field of study, I have interned at Whitener Capital Management during the summer when I am not in school. Working as an intern for an independent financial analyst has been tremendously helpful for me. Interning at Whitener Capital has helped me become much detail-oriented and forward-thinking, due to the planning aspects that come with building a portfolio. But most importantly, I have really learned what it takes to create and maintain relationships with clients and feel that my customer service experience will help me develop great relationships with clients when I enter the workforce.
