About Will Stockton

I began my consulting practice in 1974 to bring the insights of cultural anthropology to bear on leadership challenges in groups, organizations and communities. Over more than three decades I have learned that all significant leadership challenges require culture change. Usually key stakeholders agree that the old ways aren't working well enough and that we need to learn new ways, but disagree about what to do. The challenge is to learn together new ways to understand and interact. Working in partnership with leaders we facilitate collaborative learning in response to their challenges that result in mutual understanding, shared priorities and collaborative action among key stakeholders. With my colleague, Marjorie Herdes, I developed the Mobius Model as a guide for understanding and leading culture change and offer coaching, facilitation and training in leadership for culture change.
