A Public Health Specialist and Social Worker with 13 years experience in strategic planning, coordination,monitoring, implementing and influencing government, non-government organizations and communities to effectively respond and manage public health programmes (HIV,T.B Malaria,COVID-19). Increased the number of district stakeholders registered, implementing and consistently reporting evidenced based HIV prevention programmes from 45 percent in 2008 to 85% by 2021.Effectively coordinated a multi-sectoral and evidenced based district response which resulted reduced district HIV prevalence, improved access to of HIV prevention, treatment and care services. Provided technical support to government line ministries including Ministry of Health and Child Care for scaling up of HIV prevention, treatment and care services. Closely worked with civic organisations and governement line ministries to improve awareness through demand creation activities and use of mass media platforms and community based commemorations including: World AIDS day, day of African Child, International Women's Day and 16 of activism against gender based violence. Successfully coordinated and monitored District HIV prevention programmes supported by Global Fund and UNICEF. An active member of Child Protection, Civil Protection, Gender and WASH committees. Provided Human resource services including: recruitment, selection and training, performance management of community volunteers, students on attachment and wellness influencing. Strong knowldgement management skills, organizational, planning and communication skills. A seasoned community trainer and wellness champion at provincial and national level. An SRH advocate with 1 year 3 months work experience implimenting a SIDA funded grand aimed at improving access to inclusive SRHR and SGBV information and services in Mutare, Chiredzi for Adoleacents with Disability. Created an enabling environment for improved access of inclusive Sexual Reproductive Health service through: disability mapping, engagement of disability programming organizations, community volunteers, government line ministries, home visits mentorship, case management and service layering.
