About William Allison

Born and raised in Greenville, SC, William has spent most of his life pursuing his creative passions. As an adolescent, he was selected to attend The Fine Arts Center in Greenville, SC to study two dimensional design and metal works. After graduating from J.L Mann High School, he attended Francis Marion University in Florence, SC, and while there, was elected as a Student Government Senator, Secretary/Treasurer of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity - Theta Xi Chapter, and served both as Secretary and President of the Inner Fraternity Council. In he transferred to Clemson University as an Art Major and successfully completed the four year undergraduate Architecture program in three years, which included one full semester in Barcelona, Spain. William began his architectural career in 2004 at Miller Player and Associates with a primary focus on multi-family residential design. After a three year stint, he was hired by DP3 Architects, LTD where he managed designs for national restaurants chains including Panera Bread, Jason's Deli, and Outback Steakhouse. While at DP3, he was involved with an architectural rebranding project for Jason's Deli that incorporated his problem-solving and design philosophies. This project earned him the opportunity to leave the restaurant studio for a more design-focused studio within the DP3 firm. In 2008, William took his passion for design beyond architecture to focus on graphic design. He is a self-taught student of HTML and CSS, and is a guru of the Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud. In his down time, William volunteers at Project Host in Greenville, SC. Whether he is serving people in the soup line, installing a new irrigation system in the garden, providing website assistance, or working the beer tent at the Bar-B-Q festival downtown, he can always make himself useful.
