About William Armstrong

I’m a passionate web developer experienced in Liquid, HTML, CSS, Sass, JS, and SQL. I have over a years experience in my current Web Development position and a prior three years using SQL/JS in a previous role. Disturbia Clothing (Web Development)(Current) Search filters, colour swatches, navigation menu upgrades, new product page sections, and upselling modules at checkout are examples of features I’ve developed for our Shopify store. I provide IT support for staff on an ad-hoc basis, the dual nature of my role demands effective time management and task prioritisation. Bottlepay (Admin Tool Development) Bottlepay was the first FCA approved cryptocurrency exchange based in the UK. While, part of the Bottlepay team I was able to put my University experience around project management and database management systems into practice. Using the Retool & Redash platforms I developed tools that allowed the Compliance team to function in compliance with FCA requirements and later provided dashboards for the Compliance management team to monitor ongoing risks and threats of financial crime.
