About William Bampoe

William has over 13 years of hands-on experience in the Financial Services Industry. More than Ten (10) years of this experience has been with a Commercial Bank whiles the remaining with a Non- Bank Financial Institution. William, has an array of rich experiences cutting across Banking Operations and Internal Control; Domestic Retail Operations, Foreign Operations and Treasury. Almost ten (10) years of his experiences has been in the field of Compliance and Internal Control. William is currently the Head of Treasury Operations He also back-up to the Head of Central Processing Unit, which gives him oversight responsibility over five operations units (Treasury Operations, Credit Operations, Domestic Operations, Clearing and Customer Data Maintenance Services). He has acted on several occasions as the Head, Compliance & Internal Control in Access Bank (Ghana) Limited. His previous role as the Head, Compliance Monitoring and Reporting (Head Office) gives him oversight responsibility Head Office Units and strategic business units within the Bank of which he supervised ten (10) Internal Control Officers. He has also acquired requisite experience and also dealt on behalf of the Intercontinental Bank as a Forex Trader (Proprietary Trading). This has exposed him to the inherent risk and how to mitigate such risk on the Forex Market. William has a Masters degree in Finance and an ACI-Operations, ISO: 9001 and ACAMS certification.
