William Barbrow has been with Goodwill Industries of Central Texas for over seven years, serving in various roles including Career Case Manager, Program Supervisor, and currently, Manager of Program Services. With more than eight years of experience supporting individuals with disabilities, William brings both clinical and workforce development expertise to his work. He is a Licensed Professional Counseling Associate (LPC- Associate), National Certified Counselor (NCC) supervised by Jennifer Williams-Buffalo, MA, LPC-S, LMFT at Luminary Counseling, Certified Supported Employment Specialist, and Community Rehabilitation Program Director.William’s journey into social services began as a Job Skills Trainer for individuals with disabilities while earning his Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Texas at Austin. Upon graduation, he joined Goodwill Central Texas as a Career Case Manager for Project SEARCH, a transition-to-work program for young adults with disabilities. Just one month into the role, he recognized the significant overlap between disability and mental health needs in the population he served. This insight fueled his decision to pursue a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.Combining his clinical training with his workforce development experience, William takes pride in offering a holistic, person-centered approach to service delivery. His goal is to ensure that individuals with disabilities not only secure employment but also build a strong foundation for long-term success and personal growth. As a manager, he works to instill this same integrated philosophy across client services at Goodwill Central Texas, ensuring programs support the whole person—professionally, emotionally, and socially.
