About William Beugg

William is currently working in film and television. He worked in the Visual Effects Department for Warner Brothers on The Color Purple Musical as a VFX Production Assistant. William Beugg graduated from Marymount California University in seven semesters, majoring in Digital Communications Media. He won Resident Hall Member of the Year when he was a Freshman at Marymount. He also won multiple academic awards including a Humanities award as a Sophomore and Senior and a Digital Communications his Junior Year. He competed in e-sports while at Marymount, and while he competed he was a Top Ten League of Legends player on the team. William Beugg was born and raised in Los Angeles. He went to Crespi Carmelite High School. While at Crespi, he won Student of Year for two different classes, Becoming a Man and Applied Media Art 1. He was a top ten shot putter on the Crespi Varsity Track and Field team, and he competed in the Mission League tournament. He is also undefeated in Varsity Wrestling. He managed the Crespi Varsity Basketball team for three years, receiving a ring for their D1 State Championship in 2016. He also managed the school’s Varsity football team. While filming games as part of being a team manager, he started to fall in love with film. One of his football film clips aired on ESPN. Some topics that interest him are the Roman Empire, both World Wars, and the German Unification. He also wants to film movies in high frame rates, which he enjoys because the technology makes films feel and look more real and exciting.
