About William Bitter

I have gained the relevant skills and experience in Logistics & Change Management over the years. The positions I held during the past eight years have been mainly administrative, secretarial, office Management tasks and problem solving of all kinds, but also having responsibilities in a general logistics and distribution company. This gave me the opportunity to develop my business communication, customer service and inter personal skills with a range of customers and colleagues within different levels of hierarchy. I'm a bridge builder in nature, always looking for solutions also if it's cross-departemental. In my current job, when a solution couldn't be found within the existing applications, wherever possible I've build my own (online, in PHP and HTML with support of mysq database) solutions using data from existing applicaions like fast(er) reporting, product placement proposals, automatic email notifications in case of need of announcement for delivery at customers planning tool for delivery announcements, comparisson for transport companies and tarrifs, ect. I always like and want to interact with the workers who actually execute the tasks to find the best solution together, as I'm not an expert on everything, but just a real good listener who has just an additional trick on his sleave. I really like to connect with different layers in a company, but will never forget that the biggest hit in history (cup-a-soup) was actually invented by the guy cleaning the conveyer belt in the factory. My biggest achievement (not only mine of course) is having a team, within an organisation where a solution is less important than where the responsibility lies, where the members are warning colleagues and even their manager when they have made a mistake so that other members of the team will not make that same mistake.(Super proud of the team!) So I'm just a simple man trying to empower people to be the best version of themselves.
