Azure Data Engineer | ML Enthusiast | Running Coach I joined Zenergi in January 2023 as a Jnr Data Analyst with foundational SQL skills. I have quickly progressed to mastering stored procedures, building Power BI dashboards, and supporting data integration from acquisition companies. Now, I lead Zenergi’s Azure Data Factory (ADF) space, and data engineering solution. Developing pipelines that streamline data transfers from varied systems via APIs and SQL queries. Data alignment within the company is large responsibility of mine and is difficult across 3 separate CRM systems. A recent project my company have been has been undertaking is the creation of an in-house customer portal. I designed an event-driven system to sync customer data in real-time, enabling seamless integration with the customer portal. I designed, documented and developed the process to store all of the information within Synapse Analytics. This was to allow reporting to query this data and take pressure off the application databases which had been frequently overloaded from the constant reading & writing. I have recently taken a course for the DP-203 and plan to take the exam in the near future after I have implemented my learning in the real world. In 2024, I’ve deepened my focus on Machine Learning, leveraging Random Forest and XGBoost models to understand and mitigate customer churn. By blending these insights with my organisational knowledge, I’ve helped shape strategies to enhance customer retention. Additionally, I’ve developed NLP Topic Modelling models for analysing customer feedback, turning free text into actionable topics, enhancing our response to user sentiment. I have had to learn quickly and pick up abstract complex concepts with tight deadlines. I have relished every challenge and get excited to deepen and broaden my knowledge daily. Beyond data, I am also a certified running coach, an experience that has strengthened my skills in time management, people coaching, and balance. Helping athletes optimise training schedules around their lifestyle has taught me the importance of sustainable goal-setting and consistent progress. Previously, as a Pricing Analyst at Admiral Group plc, I drove data-driven recommendations using advanced SQL and Excel models. I excelled at delivering insights in accessible ways to support strategic decisions. Outside of work, I am an avid runner and will talk all things sport all day long!
