I am a seasoned IT professional with a comprehensive set of business and technical skills. IT has always been a passion more than just a job and strive for excellence while trying to maintain a balance between work and life goals. I see enterprise architecture, industry standards and best practices such as ITIL as key components to the success of an organization. When used appropriately they aid in better understanding the needs of the organization, provide additional information required to ensure that solutions are meeting or will meet, the business's goals and objectives and assist in priority setting and managing project scope. When working with clients who are looking to implement appropriate solutions or solve issues I assist them in making informed decisions. This is achieved by engaging the client to identify key business requirements, processes, gaps and issues. These processes aid in identifying improvements to business process and workflow, selecting and implementing information technology solutions that are effective and help lower operational costs. I have been involved in various roles in information systems and information technology including management, enterprise architecture, solutions analysis and design, systems and network administration, security, and software development. These skills have been used across several industries including healthcare, oil and gas, manufacturing, broadcasting, agricultural, automotive, real estate, multimedia, and consumer products.
