About William Bui

Hello! I am a full-stack software engineer who previously worked at Slack and Quip. I have experience developing customer-facing products end-to-end utilizing Python, React, Typescript/Javascipt and other tools for product design, implementation, monitoring, and testing. I am passionate about learning new skills and improving current ones as well as contributing to a collaborative and inclusive environment wherever I work. At Quip I organized a diversity scholarship program as well as coordinated our cross-team engineer rotation for releasing binary apps. I work best when I can grow and succeed with those around me and am actively looking for new opportunities! I completed my B.S. in Computer Science at University of California, San Diego. While in school, I worked as a Computer Science tutor, teaching concepts in Java, Assembly, C/C++, Object-Oriented Programming, and Data Structures.
