About William Burwinkel

Bill started his sales career in 1970 after serving with the U.S. Army in Vietnam.In 1983 Bill founded NATIONAL MARKETSHARE GROUP inc. With a focus on the future and committed to “Exceeding Customer and Principal Expectations”, Bill assembled a TEAM that believes in the importance of family, hard work, having the RIGHT ATTITUDE, giving back to the community and having fun. In addition to his business duties, Bill devotes time to fulfilling our corporate philosophy of “Giving back to the community is an obligation, not an option”.In 1998, Bill and his wife Beth, received the Preservation Award from the Cincinnati Preservation Association for the renovation of the West End Bank Building which now serves as NATIONAL MARKETSHARE GROUP inc. Corporate Headquarters.Bill is actively involved with the Boy Scouts of America chairing the 1997, 2001 2005 and 2010 National Jamboree Committee. He has also served as Assistant Scoutmaster and serves on the Council Board of Directors. He has received the Council Scouter of the Month Award and has been awarded the Silver Beaver Award, scouting’s highest non-scouting award. He is active throughout the Greater Cincinnati community serving on the East Price Hill Improvement Association, Co-chair of the Oyler School LSDMC and Chair of the Oyler Design Team. He also serves on the Board of the Queensgate Business Alliance, Chair of the Westside Summit, member of the Cincinnati Climate Task Force and member of the MSD Citizens Advisory Panel.As a further expansion of National Marketshare Group’s commitment to the community, Bill founded the Adopt A Class Foundation. As recognition for his work in urban schools Bill recently received the Parents for Public Schools Extra Mile Award. In 2008 he was also named a Finalist for the Rotary Club Jefferson Award, a Nobel Prize for public and community service.In 2009 he was featured in Cincinnati Magazine as an influential person in education.Specialties: Management and Sales
