As on Operator turn System Administrator turn Operations manager for FNB, I am able to perform the following tasks learned through my career- Completed ITIL Foundation training (Best practice)- Running of Batch for RSA, Ghana, India and all testing services- Maintaining overview of mainframe health across multiple systems - Noticing and acting on negative trends in monitoring- Ensuring consistent up time in services through pro-active and consistent monitoring - Training new users in effective monitoring and practices - Initiating Standin process for RSA, Ghana, India and all Testing Systems- Performing IPL's of all systems. This includes the full shutdown- performing STUCKY procedure- Identifying issues/failures on mainframe control-m monitor - Scheduling once off jobs/tables via control-m - Identifying issues/failures on mainframe BBI alerting as well as understanding BBI monitoring screens - Identify and resolve mainframe contentions, queues, locks and Date 15 conflicts- Have experience working with IBM Mainframe, Enterprise manager and JCL- Well versed with monitoring tools such as SOI, Grafana and Web Tango - I am experienced in updating Management Summaries as well as presenting feedback- Am able to create, work with and resolve Incidents, Requests and changes via CA Service desk Manager and Service-Now- I am also able to run as an Incident manager to follow incidents to resolution I have overall 10+ years' experience working in a banking environment. All within the operations area making my way from ground level to manager. I am a hard worker and keen to learn, never afraid to put in the extra hours if its required. I always work to the best of my abilities and strive to ensure my team is just as capable and works to the best of their abilities.
