About William Chen

Most people don’t go from finishing the HSC in Sydney to training as a K-pop idol in Seoul while studying law at university, but that has been my reality. After high school, I moved to South Korea and trained at one of the country's top entertainment companies. At the same time, I was enrolled in a law degree at one of Australia's leading universities. Balancing vocal training, choreography, and legal study taught me discipline, focus, and adaptability in ways I never expected. I'm now based in Canberra, completing a double degree in Law (Honours) and Arts at the Australian National University. I’m passionate about storytelling, whether through poetry, advocacy, or policy and I enjoy finding new ways to connect creative expression with critical thinking. Throughout my journey, I’ve been involved in student leadership, events, and content creation, and I bring energy and cross-cultural insight to every project. During my time in Korea, I formed close friendships with people from all over the world, many of whom are now pursuing careers in music, acting, or academia. I miss them deeply and am grateful for the time we spent together. I’m always looking for opportunities to connect unlikely paths and communities, just as I have done in my own story.
