Served as Development Manager Technical lead and Senior Developer on multiple projects Helped Lloyd’s Register Capstone software add on to their existing VB6 RBMI application Using C#, vb.Net, vb, Oracle, and SQL. Assumed Development manager duties and helped to create and implement development standards, project planning and development methodology. Accomplishments within the last year: • Implemented COM Interop from VB 6 to capture wnforms and seamlessly integrate winforms into the original VB 6 application, thus providing a migration path to.Net • Researched, modified and implemented easyobjects for Oracle and SQL Server to use as a data abstraction layer. This enables the use of an object datalayer name space that includes each table that can then be shared across different applications and different objects. The layer can easily be converted to run as web services on a middle tier server or accessed directly from with the winforms application. • Modified the Easyobjects code generator to use the sequence object in oracle for new keys • Use of data relations within datasets to implement cascading keys and data integrity including primary keys foreign keys and key generation • Designed and implemented a winform code architecture using C# and databinding that can be implemented as a standard, or migrated into a base form interface • Using development kits from the vendor wrote data capturing for Krautkramer and Panametrics meters into the application GUI and saved through to the database
