Dr. William D.(Bill) Perkins serves as Chairman of the Board for Patriot PAWS. After graduating with a Ph.D. from the University of Washington, he did his postdoctoral fellowship and faculty appointment in pathology at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Perkins' expertise in oncology and clinical medicine led him to several senior positions in global pharmaceutical companies. Dr. Perkins has taken his exceptional leadership skills to now serve our disabled veterans in providing service dogs to help restore the veterans physical and emotional independence. In working with Patriot PAWS and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, he has built partnerships with state and community organizations to help develop and support this goal.
