About William Demrest

ASE certified L1 Master Automotive Technician with 30 years of experience, skilled in all areas of automotive diagnostics and repair. I hold eleven active ASE certifications as well as RI state Inspection License. I was the Technical Operations Manager for Connected Automotive Systems of New England, a company involved with the design, sale and support of original equipment and aftermarket automotive diagnostic scan tools. Within this organization I was also responsible for managing the Technical Support Department and was the Network Administrator. I have 15+ years of experience in Production Management, Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement. I hold a Green Belt in Six Sigma as well as Lean Six Sigma. Within my manufacturing career I have functioned as a Production Supervisor, Quality Control Manager and Production Technician. I have led multiple Kaizen teams, taught many classes, created many QA testing, standard work, documents, and procedures as well as managed a Lean focused manufacturing environment throughout my career. I also have a strong IT background with profession experience working network and desktop support within a corporate environment and as a consultant. IT certifications include MCSE and CompTIA A+.
