About William Dester

Driven and communicative leader with many years of experience in sales, education and leadership. Beeing schooled in direct sales, the importance of working hard, smart, for the right reasons and with the right tools has always been my four cornerstones when taking on a new task or leading a group. I am pragmatic and always looking to improve or redefine old ways in quest for highest efficiency but still grounded and caring for my fellow co-workers. After many years in the trade I have learned that you cannot push sales and nor can you push your employees, if you want long-term success. You need to help the customer see the value in order for them to want to buy from you. You need to give your employees the right tools, ways and motivation and you will not need to push them. A small nudge might, in some cases, be needed to get the ball rolling though! In my opinion, coaching is key in both leadership as well as in sales. Off duty, I am a family man. Proud father of two daughters and married to my amazing wife. I appreciate the wildlife, nature, hunting, mountain biking and just tinkering in my garage with long and short term projects. Working with my hands and seeing how the picture in my mind’s eye comes to life, whether it is a new porch or the restoration of an old car, gives me a great sense of satisfaction. No matter in private, or in my profession, I always see things through.
