Career law enforcement officer with the ability to work in a quick, fast paced environment. Possess the ability to make immediate command decisions without hesitation and under emergency circumstances. Ability to work very well within a group often taking a leadership role amongst peers in the field. Ability to work with little to no supervision while performing any task to accomplish the end goal and meeting the needs of the Harris County Sheriff's Office. Looking ahead to promote to a first-line supervisor position where I can be involved in day to day managerial decisions as well as lead and direct a group of subordinates in the completion of tasks. Ability to lead by example and never directing a subordinate to complete any task that I personally am not ready, willing and able to perform myself. Prefer to work in a pro-active mode as opposed to being re-active while performing job functions and strongly believing in a team building concept.
