About William Dunlay
A bit of a new direction: I have purchased an investment house in Biddeford and am remodeling it with sustainability as a central theme. A heat pump and pellet stove will enable the next owners to minimize their carbon footprint when they purchase green power. Energy engineering, green building, and building science are all integral to this project. Much of my enthusiasm for energy management stems from the knowledge that some of the world's greatest challenges are climate change, peak oil, and the inevitable transition to an economy based on renewable energy. Using less energy is absolutely a prerequisite to that transition. Despite hype to the contrary, we cannot continue to consume energy at today's levels. With expertise gained from many years of hands-on experience, I am dedicated to helping organizations reduce their energy consumption and carbon footprint by 1/3 to 1/2 while improving all three bottom lines.
