About William E. Podszus

Bill Podszus is a second-career individual, having earned his Juris Doctor degree cum Laude from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University in May, 2018; and is admitted to the bar in New York. Bill most recently worked for the New York State Unified Court System; serving on the staff the late Honorable Steven I. Milligram, JSC. Previously, he has worked as a Judicial Law Clerk within the Morris/Sussex Vicinage of the New Jersey State Courts. While in law school, Bill finished second place in his 1L Moot Court competition, and also served two internships in Orange County, NY. The first, due to his interest in Trusts and Estates, was with the Surrogate's Court. The second was with the District Attorney's Office, Appeals Bureau, where, under a Student Practice Order, Bill worked under the direct supervision of an Executive ADA, researching and writing appellate briefs, all of which were decided in favor of the People. Bill Undertook the study of law after many years of public service, including a lengthy police career, ownership of his own private investigations concern, and presently serves his local Fire and county-level Hazmat agencies as a Volunteer Firefighter, Hazardous Materials Technician and EMT. Taken in the aggregate, Bill has more than fifty years of public safety experience. Bill also holds a Masters in Public Administration from Marist College, Poughkeepsie, NY. His Bachelors, in Integrative Studies and a Paralegal Certificate, are also from Marist College.
