About William Eissler

Nursing has allowed me to practice professionally all over the country in many different clinical settings. Since becoming a nurse, I have lived in Denver, Boston, and Los Angeles. I have worked in a Long-Term Care Facility, Home Health Care, and large teaching hospitals with adults and children. I have seen people pass beautifully and tragically, and I have helped bring people back to life that were by all means gone. I have helped families grieve and celebrated second chances at life. Nursing is a beautiful profession that gives us the immense responsibility of working with people during their most vulnerable moments and becoming their most trusted advocates. I have been a registered nurse for about 10 years, and in that time, I have been afforded the incredible opportunity to meet and care for people from all over the world. I genuinely cherish developing rapport with patients and advocating for their best interests. My experience as a leader in nursing has been an enriching experience that has allowed me to mentor the next generation of nurse leaders and positively impact nursing satisfaction and patient care. Through working as a clinical nurse and nurse leader, my vision is to affect policy changes more directly to help innovate care that is safer, promotes improved communication, and emphasizes patient education. Working as a clinical nurse helped me realize a passion for professionally developing clinical nurses to work at the top of their licensure and ensure that the highest quality of patient care is achieved for all. Working as a quality improvement specialist has allowed me to inform policies, impact practice, and highlight the incredible work of clinical nurses at our organization. Completing my graduate program in leadership and business, paired with my clinical and leadership experience, has prepared me to pursue my overall career goal of innovating health care delivery that is inclusive and equitable for all.
