About William Elwell

Bill is a multifaceted researcher, lecturer, and writer, building upon years of experience in historical research. He currently is an adjunct professor of history at Monmouth University and a technical writer, copy writer, and marketing developer for a nationally recognized security and telecommunications startup, 911inform. Additionally, he researches and lectures for local historical societies and sits on multiple society boards, including that of the Ocean County Historical Society. Prior to these, he earned a master’s degree summa cum laude with honors from Monmouth University and later worked for the Monmouth County, New Jersey government in public relations and outreach, historical liaising, voter education, publishing, and social media. He even finds time for archaeological excavations, on occasion, both in actual digging and in preliminary research and post-excavation identification. Bill believes in providing well-researched, accurate, and palatable products to any audience, with all applicable details while still being perfectly tailored to the end party’s attention. Careful attention to detail is key, while also making sure that each client receives the same regard and consideration as his own historical research would receive.
