I am a Director of Product Management and Strategy in the Oracle Data Warehouse and SQL product management team, presently focused on the Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse and the Oracle Cloud. I am the founding and principal product manager for- Analytic Views, a SQL-based dimensional modeling and query framework (all Oracle Database Editions)- SQL processing optimizations for Oracle Database-In Memory- OLAP Option to the Oracle Database, Enterprise Edition- Data Loading tools for Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse. I have over 25 years of product management experience in business intelligence, online analytical processing, and relational data warehousing. I've managed products at all layers of the business intelligence stack from self-service data analysis and visualization tools, data loading and preparation, and dimensional modeling and data warehousing in the Oracle Database. My core customer base is the Oracle Database IT and developer community. I have a special interests in building and delivering products that enable end-users with self-service data analysis, data sharing and data marketplace concepts, and promoting data literacy. Working within the Oracle Database development organization, I drive business requirements to product delivery through discovery, competitive analysis, specifications, prototyping, performance benchmarking and analysis, collateral development, sales enablement, and C-level customer touch. I am an experienced presenter to business and technical audiences in various settings, including sales engagements, industry conferences, and over 25 appearances at Oracle OpenWorld (including executive keynotes). I take pride in being an expert end-user of every product I manage. I believe that the best products are best designed and built by multidisciplinary teams, and quality is essential. My business school educational background and a long history of sales engagement complement deep technical knowledge to bring a well-rounded perspective to product management.
